February 5-7, 2009Hosted by Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Women’s Leadership Consultation provides a forum for leaders of women’s work in the local church to network, learn and apply biblical truth. This conference is for women's ministry leaders, minister's wives, women's leadership teams, women in other various positions of leadership, and for any Christian woman who wants to know how to do what God has called her to do.
Highlights of the conference will be a Thursday night rally, opportunities for course credit with pre-conference workshops, breakout sessions led by some of the top women's ministry leaders in the country, and a great time of worship, challenging messages, and fellowship with Christian women from across the country.

Iris Blue was born and raised in Houston, Texas. As a rebellious teenager, she became involved in drugs and was arrested on charges of armed robbery. After serving jail time, Iris was introduced to Jesus Christ by a young man who witnessed to her. She “knelt down a tramp and stood up a lady.” Iris has served as a Mission Service Corps volunteer since 1980. |

Jenny Broughton - Orphaned at age 11, Jenny Broughton was separated from her brothers and sisters and lived in the South Texas Children’s Home until she graduated from high school. She faced more tragedy years later with the death of a brother and sister-in-law and the unveiling of some dark family secrets, but these events have not defined Jenny. She credits Jesus Christ with the healing of her heart and life and delights in traveling the country telling others how Jesus can do the same for them. |

Florence Littauer is a nationally known speaker and author on relationships and life skills. Florence began her ministry by leading Bible studies in her home, and her love of God's Word is evident in all her speaking and writing as she applies scriptural truths to today's world. She knows the heartache of losing her sons and her husband of fifty years. She speaks on the importance of encouraging words as she has learned to counter this world’s negativity and with the love of Christ.
