We Are Texas!
Nearly 100 years ago, stone masons preparing the granite blocks for Fort Worth Hall, the seminary’s first building, etched these words into the cornerstone, “As Ye Go, Preach.” Since then, Southwesterners have been fulfilling that mandate all over the world, and no more so than in the great state of Texas. On the following pages you will meet alumni who are leading vibrant Texas churches among wooded groves of the east, wide open spaces of the west, rugged northern plains and warm southern breezes from the Gulf of Mexico. Wherever the compass points in Texas, you will find Southwesterners there!
