Oxford Study Program - July 5-26, 2010

“Oxford 2010,” Southwestern Seminary's Summer Study Program, is designed to give students the opportunity to earn master's-level course credit while residing in Oxford, England. Classes are taught by seminary faculty.

Along with classroom study, the Oxford Program includes on-site visits to historical and cultural venues throughout Great Britain. Travel is provided by chartered coach and includes stops at such places as the homes of William Carey and the Modern Missions Movement in Northamptonshire, of the English Baptists and the American Puritans in Gainsborough, of Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon, of the Oxford Martyrs, of Henry VIII and Charles Haddon Spurgeon in London, of William Wordsworth in the Lake District, of John Knox in Edinburgh, and of golf in St. Andrews.

The cost of the program varies from year-to-year and includes all accommodations in Oxford, all meals while in England, tips, and fees to the Seminary. The Oxford Study Program is conducted under the auspices of the Center for Theological Research.
