New Chapel Vision

The Details

The new chapel will be a 106,000 sq ft. building with a 3,500-seat auditorium, multi-purpose rooms and Spanish-style architecture. This will be a place where faculty and students can come to worship the Lord together.

  • Baptismal Pool & Fountain
Located on the front section of the chapel, this pool will serve as a beautiful fountain with water sprays on the outside and will accent the main lobby of the chapel on the inside.  Seminary students training for ministry in the pastorate or in missions will have the regular opportunity to use this pool for training as they learn the best procedures for baptisms.

  • Media/Communications Office
From this audio and visual control center, when chapel services, stage productions, symphony concerts, choral events, or other events are held in this chapel, the technical staff will keep everything working properly so those who sit in the audience will be able to hear the gospel, possibly for the first time, will enjoy the event and enjoy whatever presentation is made.

  • Main Stage/Platform Area
As a special guest or in a group presentation, this stage will host some of the very best communicators of the gospel and Christian performers that will lift up the name of Jesus at each event. Sponsoring this area will make it possible for the gospel to be presented in this large auditorium.

  • Lobby
The gathering area is always needed for large crowds to move in and out of the chapel.  It will provide for meeting friends, preparing for seating of groups, and possibly showing exhibits of special missionary efforts around the world or historical artifacts of great preachers, missionaries, and leaders in Baptist life.

  • Choir Rehearsal Room
This place for Christian artists to prepare for special performances will be large enough to allow for a 200+ voice choir, or a theatrical group, as they prepare for their ministries on stage.   This room will also serve as a gathering place for special seminars, lectures, or large groups who wish a private place to pray.

  • Orchestra Rehearsal Room
This place for Christian artists to prepare for special performances will also be large enough to allow for the orchestra, or theatrical group, as they prepare for their time on stage.   This room will also serve as a gathering place for special seminars, lectures, or small groups who wish a private place to pray.

  • Libraries
The library rooms will be special places to display the libraries of prominent preachers or theologians inside the chapel.  These rooms may allow for a media library, a missions library, or research books which will be available for reading and research while visiting the library.

  • Prayer Gardens
There are four special prayer gardens situated outside the chapel.  Each garden will be focused on praying for our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the world according to the Lord's commission in Acts 1:8.  A bench and naming plate will be part of the testimony of those who share in providing these gardens.

  • Reception Room
This room on the second floor will be used to receive special guests for intermission refreshments and meetings.

  • And more ...

With all of these capital investments in the work of the kingdom, individuals, families, and foundations have the opportunity to attach to the project a personal testimony and legacy for future generations.
