Metochai
Metochai – A Fellowship for Student Wives
Metochai, named for the Greek word “partners”, seeks to prepare student wives to be partners in ministry with their husbands and provides spiritual growth and fellowship opportunities.
In the fall of 1939 at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, there was a group of student wives who felt a need for an organization for wives on the campus. For over 60 years Southwestern has invested in student wives through this organization which is called "Metochai".
