    Requirements
    :  Applicant must be from the state of Georgia, have financial need, and be involved in the WMU. Applicant must also be accepted into a Baptist seminary and show ability and commitment to Christian service.

  2. Georgia Baptist Foundation Scholarship
    Requirements:  Applicants must be from the state of Georgia, be full-time students, and attend classes on the main campus of a Southern Baptist Seminary. Internet hours will not be considered to qualify an applicant for financial assistance.

    Deadline:  Fall-August 25; Spring-February 3 (only for new students or students that didn't apply for the fall semester)
  3. Baptist Women in Ministry of GeorgiaAmy Shroner-Johnson

    Requirements: Applicants must be a Baptist woman who has been a resident of the state of Georgia
    or attends a Georgia theological institute, and has completed at least 30 hours of seminary education
    whether at the Masters or Doctoral level. The amount of the scholarship this year is $1500.

                        *A listing of three references who will send a letter illustrating the Baptist woman's

    Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate financial need, successful seminary studies, and be recommended by a faculty representative. Applicants must have completed at least one semester, and be from the states of Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Texas.

    Requirements: Scholarships are available to male seminary students who are under 35 years of age. Applicants must be studying for ministry, or preparing for the mission field. Applicants must have graduated from a high school in one of the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia. Preference is given to Methodist and Episcopalian applicants, but anyone may apply.
    Applications: Written requests may be sent to Ms. Lori Nichols at the above address. Requests should include a letter of introduction expressing your educational goals and extracurricular interests, church activities, and a brief description of your personality. Also include your religious denomination. Applicants should also include a copy of your high school and college transcripts, a copy of his birth certificate, and a letter of recommendation from his pastor or professor.
