With the growing uncertainty in the nation’s current economic situation, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary finds itself in the unenviable position of making difficult decisions to protect the institution from future financial crisis. Following the Board of Trustees’ recommendations, reductions in the budget were made including the suspension of the work of the Naylor Children’s Center on campus for at least 18 months. Work at the Naylor Children’s Center was suspended as of December 31, 2008.
Naylor Children's Center is a member of the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI), Texas Baptist Church Weekday Education Association, and a candidate for accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools-Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS-CASI).
