As a complement to our Tuesday/Thursday Mother’s Day Out Program (MDO), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary sponsors the Southwestern Homeschool Program each academic year. This partnership program supports homeschooling parents and children with supplementary classes and resources, extracurricular activities, and fellowship in a community of like-minded Christian home educators.
Parents and students are able to choose from multiple course offerings each semester to supplement their homeschool education. Classes meet on Wednesday and feature low student/teacher ratios in classes utilizing biblically sound curriculum. These classes are taught by trained and experienced members of the Southwestern family who will assist parents, supplementing the education taking place at home. In addition, a fellowship group will meet each week to provide a forum for parents to encourage one another, exchange ideas, and share resources.
The cost of tuition will be $140 per class, per semester for the first class and $120 per class for each subsequent course a child enrolls in.*
*Additional supply fees may apply.
