Train the Trainer
Register Now
August 6-7, 2010
The goal of Train the Trainer is to train and equip those who have completed the Biblical Counseling Certification training (Levels 1-3) to effectively teach a four session introduction to Biblical Counseling. The four session introduction would introduce those in your ministry to the sufficiency of Scripture for counseling and provide them with basic skills in counseling with Scripture. It would not be a replacement for the Certification training, but rather a way for you to introduce others in your church to Biblical Counseling.
Train the Trainer will require one weekend of study and will meet the same weekend that Level 3 is offered. The highlights of Train the Trainer include:
- Class will be limited to 10 people in order to allow for maximum interaction between students and professors.
- Friday evening will include time to examine your ministry setting, needs, and challenges.
- Saturday will include a lunch discussion time with the professors. (Lunch will be provided)
- The class will present the four session curriculum that you will use to train others and instruction on how to teach the material.
- A CD that will include the student workbook, trainer notes and outline, and Power Point slides. You will be allowed to copy the material on the CD without charge for those you train.
The cost of Train the Trainer is $350.
