Office of Communications
Welcome to the Office of Communications
The Office of Communications at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is the central point of contact between the Fort Worth community and the seminary family. Communications officers also serve as liaisons to local and national news media, whether print, radio or television. The office strives to keep alumni, students and friends of the seminary informed about campus happenings through its various media, including this web site, emails, news service and campus newspaper, The Scroll, and its quarterly alumni and communications magazine, Southwestern News. Subscriptions to Southwestern News magazine are free. The magazine is currently mailed to 56,000 recipients.
The Communications Group is made up of professionals from many fields, including graphic design, videograpy, journalism, photography, marketing, public relations, internet development and project management. If you (or someone you know) have a passion for communications and desire to apply your talent and expertise to full time minsitry, you may want to prayerfully inquire about openings in our department.
