This year Southwestern Seminary celebrates 100 years of training men and women to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As part of this celebration, a 10-book series has been reprinted and is being sold. These ten books, written by some of the brightest minds in Southwestern’s history, are bound in a blue hardback binding with a centennial stamp on the front of each book. The reprinted books maintain the size and print of the original work.

For a limited time, you may order this set of ten books for $100. The books will be ready by March 24. The list of books to be offered includes:

  1. Inspiration of the Bible by B.H. Carroll
  2. With Christ after the Lost by L.R. Scarborough
  3. Recruits for World Conquests by L.R. Scarborough
  4. Lee Rutland Scarborough : a life of service by H.E. Dana
  5. The Blossoming Desert : a Concise History of Texas Baptists by Robert Baker
  6. The Bible and Race by T.B. Maston
  7. Jesus the Teacher by J.M. Price
  8. The Work of the Holy Spirit by W.T. Conner
  9. A Manual of Church History (2 Volumes) by A.H. Newman

As you notice, this collection includes B.H. Carroll’s Inspiration of the Bible, which was so important that it was reprinted with a forward by W.A. Criswell during times of controversy within the Southern Baptist Convention. Scarborough’s With Christ After the Lost may be the longest running textbook in evangelism. E.D. Head later updated it, and its use continued long after Scarborough’s death. In addition, his Recruits for World Conquest helped call thousands into the ministry. T. B. Maston was one of the few who had the issue of race right during a difficult era and had the courage to stand on his conviction. His book, The Bible and Race, will enlighten and encourage. Finally, A Manual of Church History comprises one of the best historical books ever written.

This set of books would be a great addition to any church library, pastor’s library or personal collection. They will only be on sale for a limited time, so order your set today. At $10 per book with a limited supply of 1000 sets, we do not anticipate this offer will last long.
