Southwestern Dining Services Catering Guide

HISTORY

Dining Services is one of the most recent departments of Southwestern Seminary. Created out of the desire to provide homemade meals for our students, faculty and staff, Dining Services is a self-sufficient department with qualified personnel and a commitment to make quality food available to our customers.

Dining Services started operation in March of 2005, growing from a handful of people to a staff of about 50, among which knowledgeable chefs and experienced cooks are comprised.

Within the new department, a new branch was created: Catering Services. Now, we are able to provide the best food service for events taking place in the Riley Center and the Naylor Student Center, both on our campus. A broad variety of menus are provided for all our customers, ranging from hors d’oeuvres to a complete plated meal, all prepared in our own fully-equipped kitchen by our skilled chefs!

In less than a year following its official opening, the Dining Services Department consolidated the Catering Services structure, inaugurated the Residential Dining Room, created a meal plan for college students, and significantly expanded coffee and snacks selections at Wild Bill’s.

Dining Services has been growing continually. New projects like the expansion of menus for Catering Services, the design of a catering guide, the creation of ongoing promotions, and the inclusion of nutrition facts in foods served in the Residential Dining Room are currently some of the areas of concentration of the department as it becomes one of the greatest assets of Southwestern Seminary.
