Annual ‘Messiah’ performance considered a ‘stirring experience’

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – The Fort Worth Star-Telegram sang the praises of the 2009 performance of Handel’s Messiah at Bass Hall by the Southwestern Seminary Master Chorale and Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.
 
David Thye, the Robert L. Burton Chair of Conducting at Southwestern, directed both choir and orchestra in “an enjoyable performance, full of dramatic storytelling, an uplifting message, and fine vocal and instrumental performances.”
