Alumni fill key positions at Oklahoma Baptist University

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – Two Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary alumni recently accepted key administrative positions at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla.

OBU President David W. Whitlock chose Robert Stanton “Stan” Norman as provost and executive vice president for campus life at the university. Norman earned his Ph.D. in systematic theology from Southwestern Seminary in 1997 after completing his M.Div. at the seminary in 1990.

Whitlock also named Mark McClellan as dean of the university’s Joe L. Ingram School of Christian Service. McClellan received his Ph.D. in theology from Southwestern Seminary in 2000, and he earned his M.Div. degree from the seminary in 1983.
