A son suffers, with hope, one year later
FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – A year after the sudden death of his father, Southwestern Seminary professor Octavio Esqueda gives pastoral advice on the interplay between faith and grief.
“Our faith and time help to heal our situation, but they fail to do it completely. For this reason, our blessed hope in Christ also includes our complete comfort yet to come,” he writes, reflecting on 1 Thessalonians 4.
