Mission

To enhance Southwesterners' understanding of the biblical basis for missions, increase their awareness of God's work among all peoples, and assist them in identifying and embracing their role in His mission.

Scriptural Foundations

Genesis 12:2-3 ~ God's mission is a blessing for all peoples

Psalm 67:5 ~ God's aim is for all peoples to praise him.

Acts 1:8 ~ The Holy Spirit empowers us to be witnesses in our Jerusalems, Judeas, Samarias, and the remotest parts of the earth.

Matthew 28:18-20 ~ Jesus commands us to go and disciple all nations by baptizing them and teaching them to obey all that he commands.

Revelation 7:9 ~ God's end-vision is every nation, tribe, people, and tongue worshipping the Messiah, the Christ.
