As a complement to our existing Tuesday/Thursday Mother’s Day Out Program (MDO), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary announces the new Southwestern Homeschool Program, starting this Fall. This partnership program will support homeschooling parents and children with supplementary classes and resources, extracurricular activities, and fellowship in a community of like-minded Christian home educators.
Parents and students will be able to choose from multiple course offerings each semester to supplement their homeschool education. Classes will meet either Monday or Wednesday, and will feature low student/teacher ratios in classes utilizing biblically sound curriculum. These classes will be taught by trained and experienced members of the Southwestern family who will assist parents, supplementing the education taking place at home. In addition, a fellowship group will meet each week to provide a forum for parents to encourage one another, exchange ideas, and share resources.
