Parking & Vehicle Regulations

Vehicle Registration

All students including doctoral and commuter students must register on-line each vehicle that is used on campus.  Students not having a vehicle must still clear parking in order to complete registration.  Decals and Parking Regulations are issued when the vehicle is registered.

Anyone buying or trading a vehicle must up-date vehicle information at S-103.  Decals should be removed from vehicles no longer being used by the student.  Old decals should be removed with current decals placed on vehicle rear windows.

All Faculty, Staff, and Employees must obtain a decal for each vehicle that may be driven on campus or on SWBTS property. On-line registration is necessary for a decal.

Parking Permits/Decals

Green, Red, Purple, & Gold decals must be renewed each fall semester as they expire at the end of August each year.

Blue decals are renewed every third year or as indicated on the decal.

Handicap parking is allowed in all parking spaces, excluding loading zones, fire lanes, timed areas beyond the timed limit, or parking spaces specifically marked for an individual.  Handicap designated spots are available in most lots.  Handicap placards must be displayed.

Temporary Handicap permits are available at no cost from Student Services in S-103 to anyone who has a temporary disability that precludes walking long distances.

Guest parking permits are available at S-103 at no cost.

Temporary parking permits (such as for borrowed vehicles or rentals) are available at S-103 at no cost.

Motorcycles  must be registered via license plate. Currently no SWBTS decal is required.

Decals must be affixed to the rear outside windshield on the lower left corner of the glass.

Vehicles with plastic windows or a soft top (like a jeep) may place decals on the front window close to the inspection or registration decals or on the rear bumper. Old decals should be removed. Decals may not be placed over an old decal.

Decals cannot be altered in any way.

All Students in Seminary housing or on Seminary property must have decals on all vehicles driven or parked on Seminary property.

All Parking permits/decals are located at the cashier’s office in S-103 at no cost.
